Redbud Writing Project: Fiction Revision Intensive
Friday, Nov. 3, 2023: 5:30 - 7:30 pm (click here to register)
In this two-session course, we will focus on workshopping student pieces with an eye toward strengthening our approach to revision. We'll discuss techniques and strategies that can be useful in bringing our work to its most successful finished form. Students who are interested in participating should have an approximately 4,000-5,000 word short story draft (or excerpt) ready to submit at the time of course registration. Registration will close on October 27 to allow time for work to be distributed and read in advance of our first meeting on Nov 3. (Since we will begin discussing student pieces the very first session, some familiarity or comfort with a workshop experience may be useful.)
