Six favorite books: City of Thieves by David Benioff, A Dirty Job by Christopher Moore, The Sisters Brothers by Patrick DeWitt, The Warmth of Other Suns by Isabel Wilkerson (or anything she writes!),  Coal Black Horse by Robert Olmstead, Another Brooklyn by Jacqueline Woodson, and any smart British mystery by the likes of John Le Carré, Ian Rankin, Tana French, and Mick Herron (Slough House Series).

How I'd describe my taste in books: "I like to learn. I like to be told a good story. I enjoy books that are gritty or witty, with memorable characters and an interesting and atmospheric setting. No kissing!"

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "Watch baseball, listen to live music, and of course, read!"

How I'd describe my taste in books: "Omnivorous with a preference for books written about places and things outside of my personal experience."

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "Puzzles, shark teeth, lists, porches, soccer, family, and contending with my rapscallion of a basset hound. I love reading on airplanes."

How I'd describe my taste in books: "Everything sounds interesting to me, and it's a problem."

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "I love to play with my puppy, spend time with my friends, and shamelessly watch reality television."

How I'd describe my taste in books: "Horror, southern lit, niche nonfiction."

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "Food, music, movies, family."

How I'd describe my taste in books: "I'll read anything if it's well-written! I love literary fiction, mysteries, thrillers, romance, classics, magical realism, fantasy, pop science, sci-fi...and all things Sherlock Holmes, in the canon or fan fiction!"

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "I love to be outside - biking, camping and being near water - swimming or paddling. Also cooking, cats, traveling, sewing, and organizing get-togethers that involve my friends & family, museums or live music, and a fancy picnic."

Five favorite books: F by Daniel Kehlmann, 2666 by Roberto Bolaño, As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner, Spill Simmer Falter Wither by Sara Baume, All My Puny Sorrows by Miriam Toews.

How I'd describe my taste in books: "I like books that are darkly funny or just plain heartbreaking. I love the absurd and the surreal, including the absurdly mundane and the surrealness of everyday life. More and more I find myself reading and loving translated literature."

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "I enjoy both cats and dogs. I enjoy watching soccer and listening to music (often in the company of cats and dogs). I enjoy collecting books and arranging them into stacks with the best intentions of reading them one day."

Six favorite books:  The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky, Hench by Natalie Zina Walschots, Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo, Thirteens by Kate Alice Marshall, Ella Enchanted by Gail Carson Levine, and Other Birds by Sarah Addison Allen.

How I'd describe my taste in books: "There is no specific thing I look for in books, but flawed main characters are always a favorite trope of mine (and graphic novels!). Right now I am most enjoying reading middle grade fiction and nonfiction on public spaces and history."

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "I enjoy being outside, taking walks, listening to podcasts, and hanging out with friends <3."

How I'd describe my taste in books: "I love science fiction and fantasy, horror, young adult and kids fiction, and nonfiction relating to urbanism, public health, and labor organizing!"

How I'd describe my taste in books: "Themes of loss, feminine strength, self-exploration, monsters, and human perseverance."

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "I love all things cinema, especially film history. My favorite genre is horror and I am watching through all of the major slasher franchises. I spend a lot of time playing Nintendo games and thinking about art history."

How I'd describe my taste in books: "I love books about queerness, connection, and relationships of all kinds. Lovable characters are a staple in most of my favorite stories, so my favorite genres are romance & literary fiction. I’m also a sucker for a good poem."

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "You can find me checking out local music, singing in my shower, and mostly spending time with my pals :)"

How I'd describe my taste in books: "I look for stories that will make my world bigger. I love books that are either comforting or challenging in their own way. I value themes of human connection, strength, and varying illustrations of femininity-- bonus points if there are any witches or twists involved."

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "Spending my time with loved ones, thinking about the universe, writing letters, watching horror movies, creating harshly specific Spotify playlists, and driving around as I listen to them."

How I'd describe my taste in books: "I really enjoy reading memoirs, essays, magical realism, and southern gothic novels. I tend to seek out authors with unique perspectives that make me think about how myself and others interact with society. "

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "In my free time I like to knit, play board games, see live music and drag shows, and go to the farmers market. I also watch a lot of reality TV and horror movies. I have a cat and hang out with her a lot."

Five favorite books: Grievers by adrienne maree brown, How to Talk So Little Kids Will Listen by Joanna Faber and Julie King, The Nice Dream Truck by Beth Ferry, The Tea Dragon Society by K. O'Neill, and The Ocean at the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman.

How I'd describe my taste in books: "While I tend to gravitate towards mystery, scifi, and horror, I also like self-help books, graphic novels, comic books, the occasional nonfiction book, and children's picture books. I'm honestly ready to read anything that looks or sounds interesting!"

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "I like to bake, knit, crochet, do various types of papercrafting, sing (I'm a karaoke queen!), play video games, watch cartoons, and collect stickers. I'm a mother to a lovely 5 year old so many of my days are full of playdates, pretend play, and plushie collecting."

Five favorite books: In The Dream House, by Carmen Maria Machado, A Brief History of Seven Killings by Marlon James, Third Person by Emma Grove, The Immortal Soul Salvage Yard by Beth May, and This Is How You Lose The Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone.

How I'd describe my taste in books: "I want to be a well-rounded reader, but I usually find myself drifting toward the horror and speculative fiction aisles. I'm also a serial un-finisher of books I start. "

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "Outside of Flyleaf, I'm a full-time student, finishing the cursed English degree I had to abandon originally. In my free time, I read, play video games, and try to practice creative writing whenever I can. A lot of that creative energy ends up being channeled into the D&D campaign I've been running for the past two years. I'm also a filmmaker and aspiring author. Other than that, I just go out with friends or spend quality time at home with my wife Cat, our dog Watson, and our cat Coraline."

Five favorite books: Parable of the Sower & Parable of the Talents by Octavia Butler, Pleasure Activism by adrienne maree brown, Homegoing by Yaa Gyasi, and If Beale Street Could Talk by James Baldwin.

How I'd describe my taste in books: "Everything from escapist science fiction to novels that explores mundane life to short and sweet poetry - anything that shows me an experience that is not my own. I tend to buy nonfiction to keep and fiction to read once and give away. My nonfiction interests focus on birthwork (because I'm a doula!), trauma & healing (I'm also a social worker), sexual health & pleasure, lesser-known history that I didn't learn in school, and queer, abolitionist, & radical future-making work."

What I enjoy outside of Flyleaf: "Sewing & knitting my own wardrobe, floating in bodies of water, my two cats, Babka & Matzoball."
