Native American Heritage Month - A Reading List for Kids & Teens

Flyleaf Books acknowledges the Occaneechi Band of the Saponi Nation, on whose ancestral land we work and operate. The OBSN community descends from the Saponi and related Indians who occupied the Piedmont prior to contact with Europeans. We hope that by acknowledging our residence on stolen land, we encourage members of our community to consider their roles, both present and historical, in perpetuating violence and systemic inequity against Indigenous peoples, as well as their responsibility to work toward justice now and going forward.
