Jasmine Brown talks financial literacy for teens with The Money Club

Ms. Brown is a young, passionate teacher who has learned in her few years of teaching that good educators can have a life-long/positive impact on their students.
One day during class, Brandon, the class clown, has a monumental outburst that changes the course of her teaching career forever. His question becomes the driving force of Ms. Brown’s journey to change the way financial education is taught in high schools.

Jasmine Brown is the current head swim coach for Holly Springs High School and she uses both her modeling and coaching platform to promote financial literacy for young adults and kids. She also currently holds a spot on the Greater Durham Black Chamber of Commerce board as a member of the finance committee. Jasmine founded the nonprofit FACTS to further her advocacy for early financial education. Jasmine knows the solution to adult financial hardships is early financial literacy.
