sponsored by Flyleaf Books.
An informal get-together before the reading
will begin around 6pm at the Chapel Hill Foster’s, next door to Flyleaf.
Please join the group for an hour of conversation.
Featured readers will each
read for approximately 20 minutes and, after a short break for the readers to
sign books, there will be an open mic. Please sign up to read no later
than 7 pm.
Mimi Herman is the author of Logophilia (Main Street Rag)
and The Art of Learning (NC Arts Council). Her poetry and fiction
have appeared in Michigan Quarterly Review, Shenandoah, Crab

Morri Creech is the author of three collections
of poetry, Paper Cathedrals (Kent State U P, 2001), Field Knowledge
(Waywiser, 2006), and The Sleep of Reason (Waywiser, 2013). A recipient
of NEA and Ruth Lilly Fellowships, as well as grants from the North Carolina
and Louisana Arts councils, he is the Writer in Residence at Queens University
