Flyleaf Second Sundays Poetry Series & Open Mic feat. Bill Griffin and Erika Howsare

Sunday 8/11, 3 pm

Featured poets will each read for approximately 20 minutes and, after a short break for the readers to sign books, there will be a poetry open mic. Please sign up to read no later than 2:45 pm. Each open mic reader will be limited to no more than a page of poetry. Hope to see you there!

Doug Stuber has written for newspapers and magazines for 42 years, spent six years teaching Continuing Education classes (creative writing and literature) in Rochester, New York, and seven years teaching at Chonnam National University, in Gwangju S. Korea where he edited the Gwangju News, His art was recently on view in London, Balchick and Varna Bulgaria, Incheon and Tokyo.  His poems have appeared in AIM, The Road Not Taken, Kakalak, HazMat Review and others. His twelfth volume of poetry “Chronic Observer” was published in 2019 by Finishing Line Press.

Jason Gray is the author of Radiation King, winner of the Idaho Prize for Poetry, and Photographing Eden, winner of the 2008 Hollis Summers Prize. He has also published two chapbooks, How to Paint the Savior Dead and Adam & Eve Go to the Zoo. His poems have appeared in PoetryThe American Poetry ReviewThe Kenyon ReviewLiterary Imagination, and many other places. He has also reviewed poetry, nonfiction, and fiction for The Southern ReviewThe Missouri ReviewShenandoahThe Journal, and elsewhere.
