Culinary Historians of Piedmont North Carolina is an organization of people with an interest in food and cooking, along with the history, stories and traditions behind them, from earliest times to present day. We are Piedmont NC based, but wherever you live, if you have an interest in food and history and culinary traditions, and an appreciation for Piedmont North Carolina, you are welcome to CHOP NC. These gatherings are the third Wednesday of each month, except in the Summer, and members often bring samples of what they’re cooking or items related to that month’s guest speaker.
