Wed 5/16  7pm-8:30pm CHOP NC Meeting  (Third Wednesdays): Culinary Historians of Piedmont NC Guest Speaker: John Shelton Reed, author of Holy Smoke: The Big Book of North Carolina Barbecue discusses: “Barbecue: America's Favorite Slow Food?”   He'll talk about the development, diversification, and destiny of American barbecue Culinary Historians of Piedmont North Carolina is a group of people who love and enjoy learning about food, history, culinary traditions, foodways, kitchen culture, ingredients, and more.
