books, there will be an open mic. Please sign up to read no later than 7
pm.

Millar, Blue Rust (Carnegie Mellon Univ Press)
Dorianne
Laux’s fifth
collection of poetry, The Book of Men (W.W. Norton), “charge[s] through
the summer of love into the present day, where she compassionately paints the
smoky bars, graffiti, and addiction of urban life.” Winner of a 2006 Guggenheim
fellowship, she teaches at NC State and in Pacific University’s low residency
program.
In
his newest poetry collection, Blue Rust (Carnegie-Mellon 2012), Joseph

Guggenheim fellowship this year. He has worked at a variety of jobs, from
telephone repairman to commercial fisherman, and now teaches in Pacific University’s low residency
program.
