Sat 8/7 2:00pm-3:00pm 2010 DK Star Wars Event at Flyleaf Books Flyleaf Books will be hosting a 2010 DK Star Wars Event on August 7th at 2:00 pm! The party is co-sponsored by Dorling Kindersley, the publisher of the bestselling Lego Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary, Star Wars readers for elementary age children and many other specialty Star Wars books. The event will include games and crafts for children, a trivia contest for all ages, free Star Wars souvenirs for the first 100 participants, and a raffle to give away tons of Star Wars prizes. The highlight of the event will be a special appearance by several members of the 501st Legion, a costuming organization whose members work to spread the magic of the Star Wars genre worldwide. The 501st has become the leading force in fan-based charity events. Be sure to bring a camera to have your picture taken with one of the storm troopers! Plenty of additional parking across the street and next door after 5pm and all day on weekends.
