Pat MacEnulty reads from her new novel PICARA;  the story of Eli Burnes, who  grows up under the care of Mattie, an opera singer, and Miz Johnnie, the family maid, in Augusta, Georgia. Pat MacEnulty is a contributor to The Sun Magazine as well as the author of four books and numerous short stories, essays, poems and plays. She is also a teacher, workshop leader, writing coach and freelance editor. Pat has a Ph.D. from the Creative Writing Program at Florida State University and is the recipient of several awards for screenplays and fiction writing.
